Public Meetings for the Amite River Basin Commission Master Plan
BATON ROUGE, La. – The Amite River Basin Commission (ARBC) is developing a Master Plan and inviting the public to participate in an upcoming series of meetings across the four regions within the Basin.

The goal of the plan is to develop a regional approach to mitigate flood damage, coordinate river management, promote responsible watershed management, and to conserve and restore the unique natural resources in the Amite River Basin watershed.

A short presentation will be held at the beginning of each meeting with open time to follow for attendees to visit stations set up around the room.
