PAVE: From Military Service to Business Ownership: Building Your Foundation

Wed, Aug 26 @ 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Online
Facilitated by LSBDC at McNeese State University: Main Office
Topic: Start-up Assistance
Every successful business starts with a clear mission and a solid plan. In this first session of the six-part PAVE program, you’ll begin building the foundation for your business by defining your concept, identifying your target customers, and establishing goals that will guide your decisions as an entrepreneur.

Throughout the program, you’ll develop the essential skills needed to evaluate your business idea, understand your market, strengthen your financial knowledge, create a business plan, and prepare for future growth. Whether you’re transitioning from military service or strengthening an existing business, PAVE provides a structured pathway to help you move from idea to action with greater confidence and clarity.

You’ll also be introduced to the network of organizations, resources, and programs available to support veteran entrepreneurs, helping you identify opportunities for training, funding, mentorship, government contracting, and ongoing business assistance long after the program ends.

By the end of the program, you’ll have a stronger business foundation, a clearer roadmap for growth, and valuable connections to the veteran entrepreneurship community.
