BTNEP: Farm Fridays
June Farm Friday | June 5, 2026 | 9 am – 12 pm
Join us at the BTNEP Native Plant Nursery on the first Friday of each month from 9 am – 12 pm to lend a hand around the farm! Volunteers will aid in separating plants, up-potting seedlings, weeding, and more. The plants grown at the BTNEP Native Plant Nursery are used in coastal restoration projects, helping to stabilize our eroding wetlands, as well as creating vital habitat for Louisiana’s wildlife. The event is free to attend, but please register ahead of time by emailing ashleigh@btnep.org. The Nursery if located at the Nicholls Farm at 104 Thoroughbred Park Dr. in Thibodaux.
In an effort to have more capacity for growing native vegetation to be used throughout our Estuary, BTNEP is in the planning stages of expanding its footprint at the Nicholls Farm. The expansion would include an office building, a new shadehouse and potting shed, and a large new greenhouse. For more information or to donate, contact Bren Haase at bren@btnep.org.
