Pontchartrain Conservancy: Storm Aware and Prepare 2026

We’re excited to host our seventh annual Storm Aware and Prepare, presented by Entergy—a free, family-friendly event focused on hurricane preparedness. Join us on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at our New Canal Lighthouse as we get ready for the upcoming hurricane season.
Partner organizations will be onsite with helpful resources, preparedness supplies, storm response equipment, and activities for kids.
Val’s Snowballs will also be onsite providing a snowball and a choice of a hot dog or jambalaya for each attendee.
