Hands-on Workshop on how businesses can get registered and certified for federal and state municipality contracts. SAM Registration – (System for Award Management) Register as a vendor to do business with the Department of Defense. 8 (a), – Business Development program created to help firms owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. WOSB – (Women Owned Small Business) Each year, the government has a goal to award 5% of all contracts to Women-Owned Small Businesses. HubZone Certifications – (The Historically Underutilized Business Zones) – Learn how to qualify and gain certification.
